The Roadmap

Phase 1 — Story Playthrough (12-16 hours)

Play through all 14 chapters on your preferred difficulty while following two rules:

  • Collect every glimmering white light you pass. Resonance Points are the only missable currency; you need 165 of 200 before the credits roll. Check the Artefacts tab counter at checkpoints.
  • Open every small chest and sweep side paths. Charms, Artefacts, and tomb blades collected now are cleanup you will not need later. Keep at least a rough per-chapter count.

Two story trophies deserve a heads-up: They Were People and Refraction both unlock in Chapter 11 (Patera) — follow the story naturally and both arrive.

Phase 2 — Chapter Select Cleanup (2-4 hours)

After the credits, Chapter Select lists per-chapter trackers for Blades, Artefacts, and Charms. Sweep Chapters 3, 5, and 7 first (the densest), then whatever remains. Chapters 8 and 14 contain nothing.

Phase 3 — Combat Trophy Cleanup (1-2 hours)

Miscellaneous combat trophies can all be farmed via checkpoint restart and Chapter Select. Load a combat-heavy chapter checkpoint, perform the requirement, restart the checkpoint, and repeat.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the platinum for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy?

About 20 hours: 12-16 hours for a thorough story run that banks 165 Resonance Points, then 2-4 hours of Chapter Select cleanup and 1-2 hours of combat trophy farming.

Are there online trophies in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy?

No. All 37 trophies are earned offline in the single-player campaign. There is no multiplayer component.

What is the only missable trophy?

Like a warrior — it requires 165 of the 200 Resonance Points in a single playthrough, because points do not carry over in Chapter Select. Everything else can be cleaned up after the story.

Does difficulty affect trophies in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy?

No difficulty-related trophies are reported — you can play on the easiest setting for the story run and still earn the platinum, which keeps the 3/10 difficulty estimate honest.
